Default Nitrous and LS6 clutch?

So I was curious if I would run into any problems spraying on an F-Body with the LS6 clutch. I have heard it is good up to 400HP so theoretically, I would be fine. Anybody have any clue as to if it would be a bad idea to spray with a stock LS6 clutch?

depends on how big of a shot you will go, but it wont last as long as it would NA obviously.

Mine has 23k miles on it and it can't handle a 100 shot. It took about 5 passes at the track (on the stock goodyears) and that's it. Now it won't hold when I powershift but if I granny shift it, it's okay. It's been doing this for at least 6k now.

I know it says it can handle 400 hp but I think it's the torque that it can't handle.

Mine has survived a 100 wet shot a few times, but its definitely hurting right now. If you spray and drive it hard, don't expect the clutch to last very long, the torque will kill it FAST.

If you run radials(not drag radials) you will be fine. Your tires would take the abuse. Once you go with a better tire and the tires are not spinning then the clutch will start to go.

So what is the worst thing about N20 on your clutch? Is it slipping the clutch on the launch?

I think it is when you let the clutch out after the shift and spraying out the hole usually doesnt help either.
