what modifications do you have to make to have a standard style distributor on an lt1?
sorry i want to know considering optisparks go pretty easily.

It is a SBC Victor E intake. Already has the hole for the dist. You can even have a machinist cut the hole on your stock intake if you want.

the whole for the ditributor is in the block already?
that is pretty cool. i always like the design car style intakes. they look older and cooler to me at least.

Do you have to modify the firewall any to make the dist work on your car? I dont understand why that isn't common practice with optisparks having all their problems.

You can get the low profile one like I did. Fits back there fine. Only problem is you have to pull the motor back down to pull it out. Just make sure you stab it right the first time! LOL
