cam and n20 I was just wondering if anyone has n2o on aTR224/224 lsa112 cam? I know that there are better cams for n20 but this the cam I got.Is it ok to use on this cam? how big of a shot can I go with this cam and stock fuel system, and will the tranny hold( a4 3500 stall deeper pan cooler).I was thinking of doing just a 50 shot for the track will I be ok? So far my mods are tci 3500 stall deeper pan/cooler MTI lid,loudmouthexaust,lt hedders TR224/224lsa112 cam,or is this not agood Idea with this cam or tranny cant take that power level?

Hey I have the same cam on my ss. I am running a 125 wet shot on a stock bottom end and a stock fuel system, with no issues. As far as the tranny holding I dont know, my car is a m6. I have almost the same mods save for the headers. Thats were you will gain your power. By not having longtubes iam losing like 40rwhp. And iam still making some good power on the spray(see sig).
You'll be fine spraying that cam. We recently did a 2 Stage install on a LS1 that has a 224 cam, here is a link:

thanks for all the feedback guys,but does anybody know if my tranny will take a 50 shot with those mods.I now know(thanks to you guys)that my motor will be fine even if I whent bigger,but just wondering if the tranny will hold thats why only doing the 50 shot.Prob.wrong thread,but any feedback will help.My goal is to beat gillbot(just kidding gillbot).Just want alittle extra for the track or the street if I get proggressive controller.Thanks for all the help .
I have about the same mods as you and am running a 75 dry shot. Only issue so far was the fuel injectors. Put 30lbs in and it works just fine. Your Tranny should be just fine. Good luck.

yeah I think ill just go ahead and spray fifty shot on the track if the tranny goes I will just buy a rock on or flt,but think ill be ok for awhile.Ive never taen this car to atrack so it should still be in decent shape and may take it a couple of times this year,but next year should be able to put a new one then ill up the shot and fuel and camp out there for the summer.

As a matter of fact I forgot to tell you, my buddie has a auto ws6, and with a exhaust nittos and 100 wet shot, no tune or anything like that he went 12 flat, and it was very consistant too. He hasnt had a problem yet with his tranny. But I told him not to push his luck either.
