Default nitrous track help

I've hot a 11.1 355" with afr's 24x/24x cam .5xx/.6xx It has a vigilante 4000 stall n/a it put down 385 through thr th400. I'm sraying an nx dp kit 200 shot. It put down 550hp. My race weight is about 3550 with me in it. We only have a 1/8 mile track here. I ran 6.92 @ 101. Which should be about a 10.75 in the 1/4. The weather was about 70 degrees and I was cutting 1.52-1.54 60'. Is there something way off in my mph If I put 550 down through a t400 and 4000 stall? Another thing, I/m running 114 leaded with no knock retard but only picking up about 160 on a 200 shot? Do I possibly need to run a colder plug? I'm running tr-6 gapped at .035. Thanks in advance guys

The fuel you're using is too rich. I use a 150 shot and run 7.10's @98 mph on a hotcam car with LT4 heads and an M6 with 104 octane fuel. There's no reason to run 114 octane. Also you may want to switch to the tr-55 or autolite 104 plug. Just my .02

would running too rich of fuel and tr6 gapped at .035 have to do with the fact that I;m only pointing 160 down on a 200 shot?

Cannot tell what your cam is (24x 24x), but it doesn't look like a nitrous ground cam.

160 at the wheels from a 200 shot isn't far off for an auto through a loose stall converter! You may have a few other variables that could be fine tuned, but I wouldn't think too much more is there.

TR-55 are the same heat range as stock plugs, TR-6 are one step colder check this link:

What is your a/f, you may be a little rich. By the way, the octane rating of the fuel has no bearing on a/f.
Tr6 is border line for a true 200 hit, imo, I would go even one step colder.
Likely, you just need to tune it, meaning get your parameters set and jet it for the increase you would like.
What tire are you running? I don't think your mph is way off for a 1.52 60'er? I have a 1.53 @ 100.62 with 480rwhp, but that was a great launch for my power and a 6-speed. Get your 60 down and watch the mph go up.

Robert, my a/f was about 11.4. I've spent so much time on the dyno tuning it. I'm running a 28 x 10.5 m/t. What about the t400 eating power. It doesn't make sense, because others with a t400 are putting down a 200 on a 200 shot. Has anyone ever heard of making more power on the bottle with less timing, ievenb if it is not knocking with full timing?

Well every car is a little different. If you want 200rwhp gain, then jet for 200rwhp gain.
On the timing, the most timing with no kr is not allways the best power. Best way to set timing is for max hp on the dyno. Not like most do, bump it up until kr then down a couple degrees.
On the tire I was just wondering. I just switched to a MT 10.5 from a 315 dr.

I think your mph is on target for the ET, and the ET sounds about right for the power made and combo.
I agree TR6 is nearing its safe design limit with larger shots. Colder plugs might, tweak the tune a bit on the timing side, and play with the fuel jets you should be there. 160 on 200 without swapping around jets is realistic. Your cam specs may not be the most efficient for nitrous either, which is probably a lot of the ghost your chasing. Just cus its split dont mean ****. Your cam is split but its closer split than "nitrous cams" recommended 12* of separation.

Cat, my kit is a nx dp kit. I can adjust fuel pressure on my regulator right now it is set at 4psi. I have 200 nitrous jets, 250 fuel. I had a six speed in before and it put 160 down on 150, with full timing, 5 gallons of 92 w/ torco. I'm wondering if my results are low because of that 114 fuel.

Devon, my bottle was between 1050-1100. I pm'd you because I was curious on what plugs you were running on the 250 shot, what gas, what are the plugs gapped at, which converter and stall? Are you putting down 150 on the dyno on the 250 shot? Thanks

10 lb bottle or 15? I run a 15 lb bottle and put the pressure between 1150 - 1200. I'm actually gettin ready to put both 15 lbers together cuz i'm gettin a huge pressure drop on the 300 - 350 shot. I've never run a 250, but my first stage is a tnt 200 and it put down 222rwhp through the turbo 400. I run BP7EFS ngk plugs gapped at .032 and a yank ss4000e converter.

I'm jetted for the 250 and going to the dyno. I also put my car on a diet. How does about 200 lbs in 8 hours sound? Jenny Craig doesn't got s**t on my program. Hopefully withabout 80lbs off the front, and can get my damn 60' down.
