Default One bottle vs two

I am finishing up my nitrous setup in my z06. I have one bottle mounted behind the passenger seat where I can open it if I lean over. I am planning on spraying a 150-200 wet shot through a TB plate. With that a bottle wont last that long, so I starting looking into mounting a 2nd bottle behind the driver seat. I was planning on just putting a Y in to hook up both. Now should I run with both bottles open or just use one at at time, or does it matter?

I am running dual 15lb'ers in my Z06, behind the seat where I can hand open both. They are tee'ed into one line, can use one or both. Also, set-up for dual bottle heaters activated by one switch. I did this so I could run all day without performance falling off. The additional weight can be off set with bigger jets.

Your obviously not talking about running this raped monkey at the quarter mile..so, I'd say run them together.

It won't see very many passes. Here we only have 1/8 mile but I do plan on running the in the quarter to get my 10 second timeslip but without a cage Im sure my 1/4 time will be limited.

1 is good, but 2 is better. With that size shot, you'll need it.

Yes it matters. Both open will double the surface area of the liquid N2O and you will maintain pressure much better during use.

the only problem with running dual bottles is when you start getting low on volume. this is when one bottle will try and overpower the other in getting down the line. this can cause pressure fluctuations between the two bottles. one gets pulled more than the other. until both bottles are equalized, the line pressure fluctuates.

i get about 5 1/4 mile runs for as 10lb bottle on the .063/.032 jetting i use.

My bottles are always within 1/2 to 1 lb of each other when ever i have them filled .

2 is the way to go for highways runs and street racing .

I can do back to back pulls now with 2 bottles but couldnt before with just one .

ive got one and already want qual bottles. got something custom in my mind(860 heater plates, quick release...) at the track we all use one bottle and swap to a full one when the others out. on the street you gotta carry your juice and cant just leave it in the pits.

I've been running Dual bottles for years. Now split to one for wet shots. And one for the D.P. Works great as i can adjust my heaters for more or less pressure.(1050 on the D.P. & 900 on the dry)

Charlie that hurts................. If that was the case I wouldn't have driven Scott ( ND) insane during the mock up. When the weather cools and the show season winds down we'll see................................

I'm kicking around the idea of making a nitrogen push setup, but I was wondering if I would be better off just running 2 bottles, because I don't want the pressure to fall off too much on the 300 shot. Thanks
