Quick question....

Quick question.... Ok, I went to the track tonight and for the second outing in a row on the first pass right off the trailer, the damn transbrake stuck and sprayed the motor sittin on the t-brake (thank god no damage)! I'm gonna call my tranny guy tomorrow and see what he thinks, but anyone have any ideas what's up with the damn t-brake, it's not the button sticking, cuz I disconnected the button (have it on quick disconnects) and it was still stuck, played with the button (just kept holding it and clicking it) and then it just decided to unstick out of nowhere and worked after that just like last weekend! Also, how important is it to line up dead on in the groove, cuz my first pass I launched and went left and had to let out, and then second pass I launched and went hard right and had to let out and almost hit the damn wall! The car is leaving even, not sittin down on one side or the other and the fronts are coming up even, so it's not in the suspension, could it just be that i'm linin up out of the groove one way or the other and then it trecks that way, can that make that much of a diff, do I need someone to start comin out with me and linin me up perfectly? Thanks for any help guys, cuz this is startin to get on my nerves, car is dead hookin, but I can't get a clean pass cuz it either goes one way or the other and I have to let out and either run slower cuz I let out and got back in it, or totally have to abort cuz it won't hook after i've unloaded the suspension from lettin out and try to get back in it.

spool in the car yet?
if not, that is 100% your issue. if you are out of the grove, or even if tire press is off, chances are real good you will hit one way or another.
if you have the spool, then you are either out of the groove, or your rear bar needs some tweekin
as for the t-brake, sounds like the noid is shitting the bed.
im guessing its an external brake noid, i would say just throw a new one on. i had one stick on me, now i carry a spare.
if not, that is 100% your issue. if you are out of the grove, or even if tire press is off, chances are real good you will hit one way or another.
if you have the spool, then you are either out of the groove, or your rear bar needs some tweekin

As for the spool, we welded the posi to lock it up, it started leavin straight after that, but still goes one way or the other every now and then, just happened to do it every pass last night, so i'm assuming it's gettin out of the groove, cuz the rear bar seems to be setup right, the car is leaving perfectly even from lookin at the vid, just treckin one way or the other.
are your tires screwed to the rim?

maybe you have a bad tire? how old are they?
the grove may do it, but i think its somthing ealse. usually the spool (welded axle) will keep the car from doing that

you really need new tires, especially at your power level
you also need to have someone line you up in the groove especially since your not accustom to doing it, from what i am reading
