dry shot and auto tranny we just got done putting a dry kit on a friends 98 TA with an auto, its got a WOT switch and he is thinking about a window switch also.
my question is, if he is using it and then doesnt let off when the cars ready to shift into the next gear will it hurt anything?

The purpose of the window switch is to turn off the 'shot' before the shift. Without the WS you'll spray through the shift. Alot of people spray through without problems
like any other mod it's a gamble. Depends on the tune, convertor. The spray will
change your shift points.So all depends on his choices.

Hit or miss like they said. Mine took a TON of abuse spraying throught the shifts, then eventually died on a NA pass. I've heard of others losing the tranny on their very first trip to the track. You gotta pay to play! Good luck!
Very true! FWIW, I ran a 150 shot dry through the shifts for I'm sure at least 100 passes at the track, countless times on the street, and a billion NA passes both street and track. That tranny rocked! However my first tranny died with no other mods besides a K&N and a cut-out, go figure. When the 4l60e breaks, and it will sooner or later, just go ahead and do a TH400 upgrade and never look back. I wish I had just done that the first time around.
