ZEX 125 Dyno Results. Need to lean out 10:1 AFR with more nitrous? What pills??

Default ZEX 125 Dyno Results. Need to lean out 10:1 AFR with more nitrous? What pills??

Nitrous DYNO #'s: 113 degree shop temp pulled 496/513.

Well.... I was aching to get dyno'd before sprayin the **** out of the car at Ennis..... Went to get the bottle filled and USA in Pantego was doin dynos for cheap.

Hot as fud there............ car lost a few from the dyno at SQR. Put down 384 whp and 375 rwtq on motor. on the bottle it did 496 and 513 corrected. I think the heat may be to blame for me being under 500 lol

I am thinking that if i dyno in 70 degree temps i will pull 505/525 or so after i get tuned up with larger nitrous pills.

on motor the A/F was 13:1 like a flatline in the ER!

On nitrous with the pills that are in it it did 10:1..... a little rich... I have two choices...... get a smaller fuel pill ....or get a larger nitrous pill .....

I am very pleased with the Speed Density tune from Daniel and Scott at SQR...... to get 13:1 like that in 113 degree heat and 85 heat is awesome! I need to see if I can get Scott to add one more degree of timing and also change the tune for the new thermostat i installed.

I have ordered the new nitrous jets from ZEX (or comp cams)....

the 125 seems like 110 rwhp to me.... it comes with .034 fuel and .054 nitrous jets. I purchased 3 more nitrous jets to lean the car out, .057, .062, .064 sizes. As comparison the 150 sizes take a .038 and .067 sizes. What do you guys think I need to lean it out to? 12:1, does that sound good? If so what size Nitrous jets do I need to try?

In tuning nitrous wet kits your supposed to adjust the fuel jet, its more stable that way. Bottle Pressure also has to do with your output. I would step the fuel jet down two but thats me. I would shoot for target AFR of mid 11's-12.0:1. More longevity, plus more torque, all around safer.

I agree with Cat3.. I would tune for 11.8 air fuel though..

.099N side, .045F side is where I'm at these days, it's fun.... hehe :-) I shoot for high 11s.

any other input besides getting a larger fuel pump? I understand I should tune the fuel..... I also want to go bigger so going to larger pills seems like the only answer.

Zex 125 ='s NX 110
Zex 140 ='s NX 125

I want to be at a 125 or so.... and Zex's ratings are not at the wheel IMO.

I meant high 11 AFRs.... haha. The jets are actually from NX, but they're the same thing as the zex jets.

so NX and ZEX jets are the same with the same numbers?? if so you must be sprayin a 250 or 300 shot!!!!! WOW.

So is Zex rated at the crank?? Can someone confirm this?

I believe on that dyno pass i had a cool bottle that was filled a few minutes before. it had maybe 1000 in it. I am going to try the one size up pill and see it that leans me out a bit. i would love to get to 11.7 afr with a 11.4 1/4 mile!
