After having my FJO 2 stage controller for a few months, I finally wired it all in yesterday. I tested the nitrous last night and the car was bucking like crazy when the nitrous engaged. It was as if the pulses were so slow, it actually caused the car to buck. I have my on rpm set at 3000, shutoff at 6300. Rpm multiplier is set to divide by 2. Solenoid frequency set at 15 Hz. RPM Based. I have the initial ramp set to 33% and go to 100% by 4700 rpms with the curve smoothed. Any idea on what is going on? Attached is the diagram that I used to wire everything in minus the toggle switch for switching between stages and I bipassed the FPSS thinking it was the culprit.

try just changing the program to on/off at 3500 or so. See if it bucks then. if it still bucks youll know its something with thecar, tune or nitrous flow. If it stops its something with the controller or wiring of the controller.

It seems to me if I set both the on and off rpm to 3500, the nitrous will never fire. What exactly does your suggestion accomplish?
The rest of the system worked just fine before I wired in the FJO.

it does and he said it was set at "divide by 2", which is the correct setting.

Well, changed the settings tonight to be full 100% shot with no ramp at all and it hits like a sledgehammer. Spinning from 60 - 80 until she hooks up in 3rd. So, I'm baffled at this point as to what could be causing the bucking. Any other suggestions?

You may be getting a jumpy RMP signal, I have the Maximizer II and I had a si mular problem but after logging the data it turned out to be the TPS signal. Does the FJO have data logging?

Confirm you rpm setting are correct by looking at the led. it should stay on solid once you hit the low set point. NOW if it is floodering (blinking fast) you might have a bad connection.
Now the ramping. can you take a screen shot and post that up. The bucking thing almost sounds like a wiring bug.
What system is this wired too.? pics help a bunch.![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

FPSS is bypassed. I'm using a NX Pureflo Iceman nitrous solenoid, Dynotune fuel solenoid, with a Harris Speed Works Black Mamba nozzle. It's the frankenstein of nitrous systems.
Dean told me 15 Hz worked for their fuel solenoid and from what I've read, that is fine for the NX noid too. I'm confused about the wiring being the culprit as everything works perfectly when I use no ramping and put everything at 100%. The on/off window works perfectly, so that would lead me to believe that I have proper tach signal. I'm pretty baffled.

If you use the TPS signal it can jump around sometimes causing it to cut off the nitrous. I found the problem by logging the nitrous run on the Maximizer software and it showed the nitrous cutting out because the TPS voltagle would drop for .2 of a sec.
If you use a WOT switch you may not have this issue. Sometimes the the RPM can get alittle jumping, using the time based nitorus run will fule that out.
Looks like you may not have Data Logging, Have you called FJO Support? They are really good guys there.....

The weather has been crappy here, so I haven't had the car out. The other night I did get to take it for a brief ride and tried setting the ramp to time based, but I'm not sure if the nitrous was hitting or not. It didn't seem like it, so I need some good weather to test things out further. I'm also using a WOT switch instead of the TPS switch. I'll post up if I get it to work.
