Default Highest TREX nitrous dyno???

I know the TREX isnt the best pick for a nitrous cam. I was just curious who has made the most power with one and did you have any problems.

I have the REX and a TNT 150 shot and made alittle over 500 wheel. But track times are the most that counts to me.

How does the TREX drive? Surge Alot? Could you use a slightly smaller stall with it, 3600-3800?

I asked a question along these lines and no one responded. I am hoping to run the PRC LS heads with the TREX cam with a 250 shot from a dual nozzle kit. Many have said that on smaller shots the TREX cam is fine but how bout larger shots in the 200-300 range? I have read of people seeing diminshing returns after a 200 shot with the TREX cam.

If the TREX isnt the best for this setup what other cam would be better that would produce a lot of power up top. This is going in a 2500lb weekend/ race car with 4.10s(so I dont need more torque). Drivability isnt that big of a deal but I dont want to have to change the valve springs every 5k miles or anything crazy like that

I love driving my car it does surge alittle but i don't care. I guess u could run a smaller Stall but the Cam really needs 4000 plus stall i was thinking of going bigger. I don't know about the Trex and 200 shots but i will soon!! I would say if u want a big Cam and a 200plus shot i would run a MS3 or MS4, i've seen and read very good results about those Cams and Spray. As for slips the Cage is going in and i just got some slicks and skinnys so very soon i will have some 10 second time slips.

I never dyno'd on the big shot, but I did ~565whp on a 150 shot. It had seen up to about a 275 shot.

i made 703 with a t rex 2 years ago with my stock cube motor. went to a smaller esp-1 cam, and made 72x rwhp with a 300 shot on both dyno's.

I cant wait to get the TNT F1 for my TA. I will be spraying with a 4400 stall and a 100 shot. Are you using a window switch? With your 4000 stall what does it flash to when you spray? What is your shift extension? and with a 4000 stall and a 150 shot have you ever run out of motor?

I've got a 4k stall spraying a 150 tnt f1. I can't say for sure what it flashes to, I'm just holding on. Shift extension is high, around 6k + on the bottle, 5200 on motor. (shifts @ 6700).

I made 639 on a 200 shot through a turbo 350 and 12 bolt with the TREX. I just changed cams and the 1st pull it made 687 on the same 200 and the next pull it lifted the heads. Ordering head studs any day now
