FJO Progressive Controller - Problem

FJO Progressive Controller - Problem Folks,
Just finished my N2O install and for the final step I need to program my FJO controller. I installed the software on my laptop per the instructions and connected to the controller. I get an error message on my laptop "Com 10 is in use, please choose another port". Any of you get this message? If so, what was the fix?
I e-mailed FJO tech support yesterday afternoon and haven't heard from them as of yet.
Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Find what is using Com10 on your computer and assign it to a different com port.
start>settings>control panel>system>hardware>device manager>ports

you need to go into you system and find the ports.
Start
control panel
system
look for the ports folder. find out what is holding port 10. look at the fjo file in ports folder. It should not be yellow, red, !, ? or a cross throu it.
If it does then uninstall and reinstall...

Charlie, trust me, I will give him a call. I NEVER refuse help from anyone that is willing. Especially someone with Ricky's reputation.....
Not sure when the car will be back in my garage though. As far as the Com 10 problem goes, When I look in my device manager, it shows the controller on Com port 10 is enabled and working properly that is what has me a bit baffled.

If you hot synk your palm pilot through that connection that could be your issue. I had a similar problem with recognizing my software with the hardware because the port was in use. Palm software uploads designate that port and always leave it active, so that whenever you link up it already knows its there.
