Default 11's in the GTO

ran an 11.98 this past saturday at bradenton.....

rundown goes like this

r/t .442
60' 1.904
330' 5.14
1/8 7.792@92.74
1000' 10.074
1/4 11.98@118.17

so i have dropped a little over 2 tenths, in just practice, and the weather might have helped me a little......

i hope to get an 11.7 before putting a stall in the car.

what do you all think?

am i keeping up with an f-body.....even slightly?

Great run, get the 60'er down a bit and you'll be even quicker. Add your time to the GTO n2o list in the stickies, good for 3rd place at this time.

hopefully me and my gto will be in the 11s with you too. im running a TNT 150 shot with jba shorties and catless mids, volant intake, fuddle 3200 stall converter, and shift kit. It put down 443 with some WS problems and a rich A/F ratio (bottle pressure was a little low). the thing that sucks is that by the time i got to the track, i didnt have much nitrous left

Good luck on the verter my car ran the fastest it has ever ran with the stock stall on a 150 nos kit 1.52 60ft 4.65 330ft 7.17 1/8th 9.42@107 1000ft after the verter it only ran 1.65 60ft 7.78 330ft 7.34 1.8th 9.62@106 1000ft weather and track cond. was the same it just felt like the verter (fuddle 3600 2.2str) slipped to much but this was on a 99 vert camaro.

well if you look at my sixty you can tell im now spraying out of the hole......

which i plan to do so with the converter, and if i can drop 2-2.5 tenths in my sixty, that should give me .4-.5 seconds, along with winter i hope to reach my stated goal.
i dont think spraying below 2800 would be too good on the stock stall...JMO

keep practicing, you should be able to get a low1.7 with that verter, if you do it conservatively.....
