I have been searching for a progressive controller, but not one that controls based on time, but reather RPM. I have been through virtually every sponsor site and cannot find what I am looking for. Do they make one that controls nitrous based on what RPM you are at?

I use the FJO mini and love it!!! The software is simple to use and download or upload time to change your programmer is like 12-14 seconds and your done. Bring your lap top to the track and you can adjust your curve to the track prep and tires you are running.

 

It is a very easy box to use...

 

I ran the Maximizer in my 94. It was awesome and is by far the best controller on the market.

In my 99 I ran the 206 dollar FJO controller. It was also aweome and I loved it.

I would suggest the 206 dollar unit for a street car application. This unit trims out a bunch of features the maximizer has that the average person will not use.

It does still ahve a time base and RPM based ramp. Built in TPS and window switch..

Ray uses the NOS controller in his car. It uses a hand held controller instead of haveing to use a labtop. ( This was the selling feature that made ray go with it).
The Main difference between the 206. dollar FJO and the NOS controller other than the hand held prgraming is that the NOS unit only offers time base ramping and not RPM based ramping..

WE have these units in stock sitting on the shelf and any of the techs should be able to answer the questions you may need.

Thank you all for your help finding a good RPM based controller. I am searching for a good safe way to run N2O without the harsh hit of a bit shot, not to mention you can get a cool rush as the N20 ramps up. Does anyone have any suggestions about at what RPM to spray at what percent. I was thinking starting out at 25% at about 2500rpms and go to 100% by 4000rpms. Sound good?

I am hoping to get a healthy 550-575RWHP on a 150-175 dry shot. I already have the other supporting mods; clutch, fuel pump, 42lb injectors, tune, etc.

 

So the mini FJO, the tps switch is the wot switch?? I'm curious and thinking of running the mini FJO and a NOS or NX solinoid instead of the zex box and a msd window switch.

 

Yes, the TPS takes the place of the WOT switch.


to answer a previous question I do not reccomend spraying below 3000rpm

I spray as much as I can, as soon as I can depending on how well the track hooks.

How do you like your 860 heated bottle bracket? It looks like a good design. I had the NX heater before and really liked it.

I love the 860...I have my bottle mounted on our tranny tunnel bracket and with the 860 integrated bottle heater and bottle brackets it maks taking the bottle in and out a breeze and keep the look of the install very clean and free of clutter.

I get lots of complements at the various car meets I go to.

 

I use the RaceTested.com (wizards of nitrous) and the original maximiser controller. Very well made products.

 

I would like to, but I am not touching this one with a ten foot pole.
