NO2 is the best wish I hadn't got rid of my kit... but a new one is on the way hopefully after the cam. You have to prove that you are not spraying to race most people. Then there are the people that really want to race you because you have the spray
But I live by the rule now you can race me without it, and if I win then you are more then welcome to spray me. I think that is very fair because we really don't race for money here(amarillo). But for a money race it is run what you brung

if you think nitrous is cheating or its "less" of a power adder than a turbo or blower, you are a little girl.

[QUOTE=sleeperstyle]if i beat somebody on the spray, like SLAUGHTER them, i'll always run it back on motor. or vice versa, if i get beat on motor, i expect to run it back with me spraying.

You can always cover your bases and run both FI and NAAWWWS

Maybe I should change my car wax too? Maybe I should change my tires? Maybe I should unhook nitrous? Maybe people should people should focus on learning to drive what they bring and worry less about what I bring.

All this is funny to me...always has been. My kid plays baseball and uses a bat call an Easton Stealth Bat. It is league spec. Maybe some coach on an opposing team should say ... "oh my kids don't have that kind of bat so it will be unfair if your player uses it."? Bullshit...if it's legal - run the **** out of it. Someone always has more money to run bigger and faster than me anyway...I win most by a large margin...not all.

Here's why I run nitrous on the street: It's safer than running on motor.

Let me explain...
If you run on motor and the car next to you has similar power to weight, then you might run up to 140 mph trying to decide a winner (unsafe).
If you win by a slim margin, your opponent will want to keep running you until they can get a win (even more unsafe).

If you spray the first time, you will usually crush your opponent and the race will typically be decided well before 90-100 mph (more safe).
Also, by humiliating your opponent by putting buslengths on them, they will not want to race again (even more safe).

Bottom line: Nitrous enhances safety!

nitrous is avaliable to everyone just as a k&n filter. i love racing and i will spray anyone who lines up next to me. everyone knows whats done to my car and if you ask if im spraying i will gladly say yes, if you ask if i will spray you i will say yes again. i mod my car to make it fast, i dont mod it cause i like to spend money on it. nitrous to me is just like my opponent having their foot on the floor. if they say they wont race me cause im spraying ill tell them to race me with them running only half throttle. ill spray anyone, from a car that runs the same exact time as me to the grand ma at the light next to me when i want to make a nitrous pass.

IT DOESNT MATTER HOW YOU WIN, ITS IF YOU WIN OR NOT.

I like your theory, but it has flaws. If you kill people, your rep is known pretty quick and now you are out of racing. I know there are lots of idiots out there that are ignorant and will run anything for 20-50, but that is just not worth it. If you want to run cars for 100+ you need to have an unknown rep. In other words you need to know when to loose no matter what it does to your ego.

Quick Reply: when you street race do people get mad that you use nitrous??
