Default Directport Gurus come on in!!!

Alright. So Basically have the NX Single stage GM EFI Wet kit with the Gen-X2 uprgade and love it. However I am ready to go big and do a direct port setup. So I have a couple questions.
1)I have been told that it is actually safer to run directport as opposed to spraying after the MAF sensor. Is this true? If so why?

2)I have an idea of what parts I will need to make this happen but I'm not sure. If you have a parts list(with part #'s if possible) with prices.

3)I want to have hard lines and have them polished. I have the fast 90 manifold and it is painted to match my NBM T/A. From what I understand it is ready to be plumbed for direct port with relative ease. So getting to the point of question # 3. Do you guys have any pictures of your setups with this manifold?

Functionality, reliability and above all safety are of course the most important but almost as important is how the system looks. The "bling factor" is a big deal. I really would like to have it be show quality. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I am about to explore an area of nitrous that I haven't had much of any experience with.

Thanks.

The reason you can run a direct port more safely at higher hp levels, is all about tune ability. And the controll you have over your nitrous system. Do not get me wrong a single nozzle or maf system works great. even on higher levels, but you have to tune the weakest cylinder. Direct port you can up the hp level on all other cyliders.

You will be able to sell your stuff and be money ahead. if you buy the pieces needed to switch you are looking at a lot of money. If you want to keep you MAF for that dual stage setup then buy a system less bottle.

#3 if you want the real bling bling thing get all aluminum parts anodized the same colors. Even send you mav end in to whom ever does it and make those the same color. performance will not effected but damm they look nice.
