Robert very nice. What did you screw those bottle brackets into though? The vettes rear compartment is fiberglass wouldnt you have trouble with cracking? Also, where did you get that purge from and where did you run the line? Thanks man, looks great.

Looks absolutely fantastic Robert! Took 20 minutes out here on the rig to get the pictures to show , but well worth the wait!

Let me know when you want to transition to the a full face panel, waiting on Phil to install his; the full face has tons of real estate for all the switches and labeling and indicator lights

Blackls6, the front mounts are 3/8 plywood (marine grade) glued to glass with Gorilla glue. Yes, the glass in this area is real thin and will not hold a screw well. Then the mount is screwed to plywood with 1/4 ss screws. The rear mounts I used maracashi (spelling?) inserts epoxied in. The rear mounts are actually in the spare well with custom UHMW (plastic like) spacer blocks which are bolted into the inserts with 1/4-20 SS bolts from the top only.
The purge dual "Bulls Nostril" is from Dyno Tune, and the noid is a CF, with custom poly line running to the head, all tucked away by battery.

Thanks Beer, and thanks again for the trick sw panel. Saw the first mock up of your new sw panel. Yes, am interested and would like to see the installed item on Phils car. The only problem for me going with the new panel, is the going back to stock someday. All my mods I have tried to make so as not to interfer with going back to stock?

Yes, I have the return to stock thing in mind too. Thats why I did the ashtray panels. I have a console that I bought for photo's it was like $90 new, and I have seen them used on ebay for about $50-70. I may go to the full face (that does require cutting the back side out), and if I ever sell the vette I will put my "photo" C-5 console in the cut ones place. I also bought a new battery surrround to slap in ($12 from ecklers) that holds all my relays and LC-1; the only component I am missing is the drivers pillar I drilled out for the gauge pod retainers.

Let me know if you need any more decals, looks like you used the 3rd stage one I sent ya last year (ironically that was the start of my interest in panel making ), I am at work the next two weeks and have access to the machine .

How do the cobalt gauges look at night when they light up? Do they match the factory dash lights?

Here's the link to the Dyno/Performance thread on this kit, for those that haven't seen it, and for those pm'ing.
Ultimate PRO Dry Thread Dyno

Thanks Smokin87TA, Trust.

I got it from JottoDesk.com.

Joey, because it's for a F-Body, it doesn't fit perfect. I added a foward facing mount bar to add to the stability. They don't make a dedicated y-body mount so this is as close as we could find. Here is a thread from Z06.com where i got the info and explains install.

Command center.

Bad habit, no they don't match perfect, but I will say they are the trickest looking night gauge that I have seen. Will get some pics at night.

Robert!

The point of a Hooters gathering is to get the Hooters Girls in the Picture with the car! Especially this time of year, being a bit nipply and all. Now go back and get us some Pics of you showing the Hooters Girls your noids.

Maine does not have a Hooters

Thanks, a few of them still need polishing though, along with the purge noid base.
