I just ordered a wet kit for $355 with shipping and tax from HSW. I cant wait to install it and get some numbers. I guess I will install it in the spare tire location. I would like to just mount it in the middle of the back seat, but I dont know if I would get into any trouble with the law.
Anyone know anything about it in SC?

Never said anything about street racing. I have two cars and drive my Camaro on sunny days. I was saying IF I was pulled and the bottle was in the rear seat what would happen. WHO DOESNT WANT NITROUS?
(see why i wasnt trying to preach against street racing) i'm just saying, why do you need the bottle in the car if your not going to street race? if you dont want to mount it on the center hump then why not mount it where the t-tops go....you can then just cover them up with that fold over cover but still have it hidden....or the spare tire well.

Because then I would have to remove myself from the seat to open the bottle. I'm what you call lazy. I do have t-tops and would not want to mount it there. And the spare tire well, it would really suck if I needed a spare, but that is most likely the place that it will go.
Remote bottle openers were made for lazy people with external guages to check the bottle.....and you'd still have to get up to open the bottle even if it went into the spare well.
Just put on the center hump thats where mine is and i have never got in to trouble with the law, but this is in Arkansas! Plus it just looks better, and when people look in ur car they **** theirselves!

I guess you could cut the bottom out of an old gym bag and put it over the bottle, and leave a little bit of the top unzipped to reach in and turn the valve when you need to spray

Correct me if I am wrong but in most states it is not illegal to have the bottle in the car. You just cant have nitrous in the main feed line....some states also require that the line not be connected to the bottle. I have my bottle mounted on our tranny tunnell bracket. I have not had any problems w/the law.

Mount it where you can reach it.
