Default n2o and shift

the car is a 2000 formula a4 with a 3500 2.0 str fuddle

here is my set up daves plate with 150 jets, wot switch and a digital msd WS

i have the switch set at ON 3000 Off 6000.

the car feels so great in the window but when it stops to shift it falls on its face until it gets back in to the window.
i had a tune done by tsp back in march and that got rid of the bounceing off the rev limiter.
is it the tranny sliping or even the converter or is it just that the boost from n2o turning off is that noticable?

my mods are in sig

thanks

Eric

well, according to my stock .bin, the factory shift point is at 6000 rpms. so, shutting it off at the same time it's shifting might be confusing the computer via the calculated torque. just a guess. turn off the nitrous at 5900 and see what happens. personally, i have mine set at 6500 rpms. that way i'm spraying through the shifts.

hey mrr23. i just looked at my window switch when it was shifting and it is shifting at 6100rpms. would i risk bouncing off the rev limiter if i turn off the window at 6100?
also if i set it to 6200 would that be concidered spraying during the shift
?

Yeah, the feeling like its going to die, falling on its face is normal when the giggle stops and your back to NA. Wait til you feel the difference b/w 250 and NA!

no you wouldn't risk bouncing off the limiter if you shut off at 6100. 6200 would be right at the shift point, so i'd say no. setting it above the shift point, like i have is spraying through the shifts.
