What companies make EFI plates?
Good/bad of them?

I'm considering the HSW wet kit that's on sale, but I want to use a plate. Is this just a matter of buying a plate and hooking it up, or is there more hardware involved?

Ewww. That's the answer I don't want. I don't doubt the quality. I'm sure it's an awesome piece. But on the site, the price indicates it may be plated with gold, or maybe platinum.

 

you should be able to use any plate with any wet kit. I have nitro dave's plate, and basically you just hook up the plate to the lines coming out of your solenoids, instead of using nozzles. Basically, the only stuff I had to do for my plate was put a throttle cable bracket in there, and trim off my bellows a little bit. That was about it, if you need to know anything else PM me.

I understand that our plates cost a little more than the others...we carry the NOS plate also.

Our plates were designed to accept the OEM o-ring style gaskets instead of a paper gasket, they have also been flow tested up to 400hp. They come with everythin needed to install on the vehicle.

I have Dave's plate, I posted a video of bench flowing it (easily found in a search), look at that vid and compare that to a nozzle in air duct. A conversion kit is what $225 for a F-Body? Its a nice piece and was a bolt on that worked right out of the box for me. Glad I went with a plate for my first wet system.

The NOS plates the guys I have compared notes with are pleased with their systems, the HSW looks as innovative as Daves plate with the 360 spray coverage (are they released yet?). I suspect the Nitrous Direct LS1 plate will look similiar to their LS2 plates and the post I have read on the ND LS2 plates have had great feedback as well.

 

I have a NOS plate I will let go for about half price, I ordered the wrong one. I had to order a ls2 one, so i have a spare brand new ls1 plate.

 

Dont be near sited by price. For the little abit more it cost for our plate you get so much more.

To an experienced and seasoned Nitrous hand like yourself, well, I will just assume you left your reading glasses somewhere, and your memory is failing a bit, and I would change the subject to "hey Robert whats the latest on the CF LS1/LS6 plate? That going to be released when it stops raining in Seattle?
