Default Any ideas on what this combo is "rated" at?

A friend hooked me up with a free nitrous kit.... big mistake

Its a compucar wet kit that came off a 5.0 - I ditched the compucar nozzle because the jets weren't even close to being right for my car and you cant find jets anywhere.

I bought a NOS nozzle and started with 61/30 pills, running the compucar tiny noids, the fogger is spraying behind the MAF, stock LS1 rail pressure, and around 900 psi of bottle pressure.

Any ideas to what this combo might put down (add) to the rear wheels?

AFR averaged at 11.59 (keep in mind the 42lb SVOs)

Thanks,
David

Since you have the 'tiny' noids. The n20 solenoid is probably .062" which will cap you out at 150rwhp.. Basicly your already maxed out.

I would suggest a set of NX solenoids with carbon fiber cans.

Or the Nitrous Outlet solenoids with purge port design.
Both lifetime warrenty..

I like my solenoids big, strong and high flowing. Turn that little wimpy noid into a purge solenoid.

Thanks Dave, what is the pricing on the Nitrous Outlet noids? No pricing on the website.

Do you have any idea to what my current combo might be rated at?

Thanks,
David

Here is the solenoids we would reccomend going with...

Nitrous Solenoid (300hp) $109
Fuel Solenoid (300hp) $85

This will leave you plenty of room to grow with your system.

Im not a fan of the new NX carbon fibre noids. We bought a set and we ended up sending them back due to the inlet and outlet sizes not being what we were looking for at all. A local guy had some fail and Im not a believer in the lighter noid is any better. I liked the old NX ICEMAN noids though. I use the big Proflow noids now though good to 400 each. good luck man there is plenty of n2o knowledge on here and the sponsors are very helpfull.

So you guys think these solenoids are holding me back with my current jetting? I don't have a lot of nitrous experience and I don't know what to expect. There is definitely a SOTP increase but nothing out of control.

What is a safe WOT AFR I should shoot for?

I'm currently running TR55s gapped at .55 - I will be switching to TR6s next week - gapped at .35?

Thanks for all of your help!

Like Vinny said above the jetting you are using is probley as large as you will be able to go with the current solenoids. If you plan on staying at 150hp and everything is working fine run what you have. When you get ready to upgrade go to a bigger solenoid.
