Default introduction

i jus purchased the hsw wet kit for me 01 TA, its got 58500miles on the motor, the kit came with 75, 100, 125, and 150 jets. When i finally get the kit from fedex, and put it on, do i need to start out with the lowest shot to introduce it to the motor? or can i put the bigger shots on it and not have to worry about a break in period?

you can spray whichever you would like. if i were you i would start with the smallest shot possible to make sure everything is working correctly. The smaller the shot, the more forgiving the consequences will be(hopefully).
If you planning on running more then the 100 shot i would recommend getting a better fuel pump, and a window switch is always a good idea, especially if your a M6.
P.S. MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE YOUR PLUGS! the most popular plug around here for nitrous are the NGK-Tr6s.

Like blk97 says, start small and work up.
Turn off your sterio and everything else that mkes noise and give her a run.
Listen for anything out of the ordinary, could be detonation.
After your run, stop and pull your #7 plug.
[drivers side, 2nd one from the firewall]
Check it out. [ electrode intact, etc]
If it looks good, go up a jet size and repeat.
Is your car stock, other then the nitrous?
If its modded much, I would be very cautious about overtaxing your fuel system with that 150 jet.

For your wetkit you will want a fuel pressure safety switch at the VERY least.

Have fun with it...HSW is a great company

Start with a 75-100 shot, get the bottle to 950-1000psi, spray only above 3000 rpm, and make sure your both solenoids are opening/closing properly before you hook up the bottle. I had a ground wire come unhooked once, woulda been scary if it was the fuel noid and the n2o noid still opened on a 65 pill. =)

When you get your kit sit down and give the manual a good read, in the electrical section it goes into testing the system and everything. Let us know if you have any questions along the way.

Thanks,
Matt
