getting ready to buy....
ok i have done a little research and i have some friends with some cars that have nitrous...but lol they are all 5.0L and u can throw whatever u want at those stock blocks imo....lol....anyways im getting ready to purcahse a kit but i was looking for some opinions on some different kits and everything that i would need to buy...also the car is almost stock exp, for lid, exhaust, and soon to have headers and y pipe....any help would be great...thanks
Do you want a wet kit or dry kit?
Dry kit you should look at a window switch at the minimum to compliment the setup.
Wet kit you're going to want atleast a window switch and FPSS (fuel pressure safety switch)
The main thing you need to think about is whether you want to upgrade the fuel pump (wet shots) or the injectors (dry shots) for bigger shots down the line.

im really only interested in a dry system set-up...consedering that im only wanting to do a 100shot and nothing more untill i tore the motor apart and went to the extreme...but im thinking a 100shot for now would give me some better runs, and satisfy me for a while...lol
this was one of the kits i was looking at

Absolutely...for only 100 shot I would just go with a dry setup also.
If you plan on running in cooler weather you'll need a bottle heater also. During warmer weather its a little easier to get your PSI where you need it, but a heater still helps for keeping pressure steady and giving you more consistant runs.

Take a look at the big four nitrous Vendors sites that usually chime in here:
DynoTune
Nitrous Outlet
HSW
Nitrous Direct
I would suggest their base dry kits and then add a window switch, bottle heater, purge, and new TR6 plugs to your order. Other things to consider is soleniod brackets if your looking for a clean show style install, as well as control panels.

I just ordered the same kit you're considering. Matt from HSW was very helpful and patient as I am relatively new to nitrous too. I won't get the kit on until spring but all of the parts look to be very high quality and are packaged neatly so you can keep track of everything. Beer99C5 makes some really nice control panels.
One thing that I've been told on this board is that a tune would be a wise idea, especially if you've already had your car tuned NA.

One thing to consider is that you have 26# injectors stock and i have seen cars with 26#ers not support a 100 dry shot even with almost no other mods. HSW has great price on injectors and your gunna need a tune any way. Getting a window switch and bottle heater as well as some colder plugs is a good idea with any kit. The best advise i can give you is get the kit take it to the dyno get it tuned and if you run out of injector buy them then but definatly take it to the dyno to test the sytem the first time.
