im sorry but spraying a 175 shot on the stock fuel pump and or injectors is like playing with dynomite, regardless if its tuned or not. tuning a car is not going to protect your fuel pump or injectors from failure.

IMO you need a new fuel pump for anything over a 100 shot. I sprayed a 75 shot with the stock fuel pump for about 5 months. then jumped up to a 100 shot after getting my new fuel pump.

a wet system is even MORE of a reason to replace the stock fuel pump. On a wet kit the car relays on the pump to provide the extra fuel, with a dry kit the car depends on the injectors.

a walbro 255 will do the job.
remember also with a dry shot that high(150+) you need to worry about your injectors, as this is where the fuel comes from on a dry kit.

Sick240, wet or dry, the stock pump is generally considered good for about 450hp overall if in good condition. On a dry the injectors must be sized for your overall hit, and math is in the wet vs dry thread. A couple ways to tell if your running out of pump, if you are going lean at your highest demand area, or if you you are dropping pressure at highest demand. A higher mileage car, replacing the pump with a Racetronics kit is a good idea for safety, and do the filter also.
