could be worse, the car could have burnt to the ground.

Hope the owner finds out what happened and can get it back together.

oo man that sucks, not trying to start a fit here, but could this have been prevented by using a dry shot, or was this unrelated to the type of nitrous used?

Never like seeing those pics when I'm in the middle of installing a kit myself.

They have a root cause for that backfire?

Default this is my car damn...

yes i want to cry but it could have been worst the fire was put out quickly thanks to the carloina staff all the wiring looks good.it was a very violent backfire the hood driver side fender intake and breather assembly are all history.I changed the trick window swich and must of did something wrong because soon as i pushed the gas it backfired. on a good note did run personal best today 6.344@110.07 1/8 9.927@137.81 1/4 thats racing it will be back soon.

Damn, that's really to bad. Nice run though, that's good for #1 spot on the nitrous vette list for this year, and hard to beat in a vette. What was your 60'er? and mods to drivetrain? Hope you get back to racing soon, and keep us updated on your future fast times.
You are right, that's racing, and I am waiting on my turn with 200 sprayed passes allready, but likely mine will be the lower end.

sad sight to see. I think that is the first backfire I have seen with nx noids. Not that its related. The only thing i see wrong is feeding off the rail on that shot maybe 93 octane and the 200 shot threw 2 nozzles.

i don't think that it matters if your pulling a 200 shot off the rail long as you got the pump for it. And everything checks out good. In this situation I would think it had something to do with the electronics.

seeing as that was local, there was a reason no one was allowed by the car since the key was left on and the pump was still feeding that fire with fuel. explosion waiting to happen...

sucks to see what happened with your car. is it mostly just top end stuff? or any damage to the lower end of the engine?
