HSW Dry kit w/ 860 heater (used)- $350
FPSS - $45
MSD Window Switch - $65
39lb injectors (needed for H/C anyway) - $100
Custom switch panel - $10
Dyno Tuning (needed anyway with new FAST/injectors) - $100
FAST Burst panels - $75

TOTAL: $745
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wasn't too bad for me, just plan on the occasional spray though. And a fuel pump down the road, mostly for the H/C.

Nitro Dave's Plate kit special (included kit, purge, heater, all safety equipment, etc) - 1075
Switch Panel - 50
N2O and fuel pres. gauges - 400
Remote opener (free as it was a gift) - 200
Racetronix pnp fuel system - 250

So all said and done it was about $2k, but thats for pretty much anything you could ever need/want for a wet kit except maybe a wideband.

It's cheap to just slap nitrous on a car, but it cost a bit more to do it right and have a system that works right & safely every time. So, you are very correct. The idiot is the guy that does it on the cheap and then blows stuff up and blames the nitrous for their own stupidity.

Lets say you spend $2210 on your nitrous kit and go through one bottle a week. After to years you would have spent roughly $6300 total. (this is just a rough estimate) That is still cheaper than doing a turbo kit or supercharger if you ask me.

yeah and the same thing goes with a turbo or supercharger... usually you dont just slap it on and call it a day. with every power adder, you need to spend money on things that will keep it running strong and safe. so i guess its whatever your into

LOL...build a mild motor that makes 450 rhp and then add a dual stage 250 shot for a total of 700 rwhp.
Then build a turbo setup capable of that...

Just the way you ended up spending more than you thought on a nitrous setup...you will do the exact same on a turbo or SC kit. But the numbers youll be dealing with are much larger. MUCH larger.

Nitrous is still the best deal going for power by far.

I had almost $2k in my n2o after I had the car tuned. I would have much rather spent that money on something like a rear end then n2o. Luckly I got most of my money back when I tore it all out and sold it.

I guessed you missed my thread a couple of months ago.

Its cheap relatively speeking. But trust me cheaper on your side of the boarder thats forsure.
It doesnt cost you $80.50 to fill a ten pound bottle or $120.75 for my 15 lb bootle. Oh and Ten pound minimum.
FI guys have their plumbing and we have our "bling bling" plumbing. Im trying to justify the NX rails just cause they look cool!

I wasn't saying it was cheaper than other forced induction, just that it adds up quick! I can't afford a properly set-up turbo car like I would like.

Yeah I think I would ditch the nitorus if it cost $8 a pound. That's crazy, cost me about 2.25$.

Not cheap but definitely a hell of a lot cheaper then forced induction..its a great deal if you don't plan on spraying on a daily basis.
