Default NHRA Nitrous Requirments

Search isn't working, so I must post here...

I plan on heading to the drag strip in a week or two and I'm installing nitrous. What are all the requirements for using nitrous on a track?

I know about these

Blowdown tube to outside the vehicle
Blowdown double threaded NHRA Valve...



Anything else?

firejacket is required for any non factory forced induction or N20 regardless of speed

Damn a firejacket? I don't think they make one my size...will a flame retardant tent work?

D/S loop, and if the track is strict, a 6 point bar, since 11.49 is the cutoff.

Just found out more... here's some requirements for your nos...

Now, I see the fire suit requirements are if you run 9.0-7.50

I don't see the fire suit requirements if you're above that... am I reading that incorrectly?


I believe it's only the blow down tube...

And are M/T Drag Radials considered "slicks?" don't think so, but better check
