Default Blown up because of WET...

Well I blew up Courtnay’s trailblazer Friday because it was wet... Yep that’s right it was pouring outside. We had a huge flood that flooded our road. I was about three blocks from our house and as I came over the hill I seen standing water on the road. I only had a split second to slam on the breaks and it was to late so I decided to drive through it. and see how big of a splash it would make.. Well I’m an idiot. I did not realize this little puddle was actually 4 foot deep. The impact hydra planed the trailblazer off the road and submerged it in the ditch. The ending result was a blown motor, water all in the vehicle, and a little embarrassment to all the people driving by.

Now you did not really think I was going to complain about having a wet nitrous system did you. Who needs nitrous to spit a rod out of the oil pan. All I need is a little water puddle.
Dave

See... "WET PUDDLING WILL DESTROY YOUR ENGINE". Happens all the time. Should have been dry.. no puddling.

Wow! That's a crappy situation. I hope everyone involved is OK.

You could go glass half full here and look at this as an opportunity to make things better/faster

sorry to hear about your issue

look like there will be a TB SS up for parts at an auction ...the insurance companyy will proballt total it with interior water.

We did 2 motors last year due to a bad storm and hydrolocked motors. The adjusters both said if it took water into the interior it would have been a total .
