Default NX Kit....Should I?

I have a buddy who wants to sell me a NX Wet kit and a purge kit for $135.....is this a good deal? All its missing is the line from the bottle to the solenoid....

I really would rather use a Dry kit so what would it take to convert it over?

Yes or No??

That is a good deal! But if you dont want to run wet for some reason you can just pass on the deal.

Or you can buy it from him and sell it for more so you can buy the dry kit you want.

I dont know if all the kit is there then sure heck of a deal just rember to run nitrous you have to get your air fuel correct either with a y band and have someone due a nitrous tune or you will blow your motor

That is a great deal -but remember the old addage 'you get what you pay for' If the kit is used, I personally would have all the solenoids checked out 1st and/or rebuilt to ensure that you have no catastrophic problems...

Your friend might unintentionally sell you a kit with a bad noid. Better to be safe than sorry.

Also if your dead set on dry, I dont see why you couldnt take the fuel noid out of the equation and either plug the fuel side of the nozzle or get a dry nozzle.

Or do what I did. I already had a NX wet kit and wanted to give dry a try. So I bought a dry kit from dyno tune and added a second stage. Their kits are very reasonably priced and if you dont want the bottle since you will have one from the wet, their dry can be had for around $169 without a bottle.

Nice deal if everything is in good working condition. If all you are looking for is a dry kit i would recommend checking out Harris Speed Works they are a sponsor on here. They are selling there single nozzle dry system complete with bottle new for only $260..

Exactly what I was thinking - mechanical parts wear over time - could have some dirt in the noids also. Just better to be safe than sorry. Personally there are a few items that I would never buy used - a nitrous setup is one of them. I feel a lot more confident with all new parts - not to say that they couldn't be bad by chance, but the odds are that a new setup from NX, or any of the other sponsors would be top notch, new, out of the box.
