Default my bottle size.

how do u tell what size bottle u hav e....i got a used kit and i thought that the bottle was a 10 pound nos bottle.......it say that it holds 10 lbs of nitrous.... and it should weigh 25 lbs with it full of nitous...so would that make it a 25 pound bottle....

the "pound" the bottle is rated at is the amount of nitrous it holds, your 25 pound bottle holds 10lbs of nitrous, so it is a 10lb bottle

well i orderd a 10 lb bottle bracket from NOS and it does not fit... the circumfrence of the bottle

it wont fit perfectly......

should ahve a sticker on it that says something like 14.5 empty, 24.5 full

but that weight its a 10 pound a 15 i think it 22 pounds or so empty 37 full?

weight of cyl and gas----24lbs. 12 oz.
weight of cyl empty------14lbs. 12oz.
weight of gas------------10 lbs. 0 oz.
that is what the badge says on the side of the bottle

you have a 10 pound bottle, the brackets wont close all the way when you tighten them. Thats how they are designed.

then put the bottle down and walk away

10lb and 15lb bottles are the same diameter, the 15lber is just longer

well i got the bracket to fit..but i could not use the original bolts i had to use some of my own bolts from work so it would work so i got it to work ...thank you all...
