Default Backfire takes out the crappy ls1 intake for me.

Don't have a window switch on the car (flame suit on). Couldnt get the car to hook all day, track sucked, so I tried a different launch technique. Launch on motor half throttle, hook, WOT, bog, then POP. I know better but its all in good fun (flame suit off).

Luckily just lost a MAF, manifold, and oil pressure sensor, for teh most part. Oh yeah it correced my nice fitting stock hood about an inch off up al the way around. LOL. Compression is ok and no knocking as of post POP.

Two words for newbies.....................WINDOW SWITCH.

At what rpm did you spray? No window switch here. No problems either. Sorry to hear about the backfire.

I don't even look at the tach after the third yellow. Throughout the day I would go WOT before letting the clutch come out. I would guess the rpm's dropped to 2k or so from the sound of the motor.

Sorry to here that Sean. Jeremy has a stock intake. He swiched to the LS6. I thought you ran great. At Sea Level, you would have gone low to mid 11's. I case you guys don't know, we race at 5,600 elevation. I'll try and stop by tomorrow. I putting in a 383 LT1 blower motor in my friends 95 Z28 right now, so I have to get back to work

WOT= wide open throttle

window switch= a lil black box that takes "pills" that look like fuses that plug into that lil black box. the "pills" have a lil number imprinted on them showing what RPM u want the nitrous to turn on and to turn off. so u have a lil black box with two fuses with a number on them in ur car, turns the nitrous on (for instance) 3,000RPM and turns it off at (for instance) 5,800RPM. VERY GOOD insruance for a manual car, recomended for a auto car.

Sorry to hear about that Sean. That's why I left early, just felt like something was gonna go wrong on the track. Like Neal said I have an intake if you want it. Let me know. Nice to meet you BTW, it woulda been fun if the track was hooking.

See you Friday night. I have the N2O up and running now and some new hope for hooking, I bought boxed lower control arms. They are repaving the strip and will hopefully have it done by friday. Hopefully it will hook decent.

Hope track hooks somewhat with the new surface. Have to start a supercharger install on some car so I don't get to go to the track this weekend. On the good side headers shipped yesterday. At least we get to play in the cool night air now. let me know how the track is.

Right ON! Its about time they shipped the headers out. Now your car will really wake up, I can't wait to see how she moves with them on.
I can only hope there will be traction, because the air will be nice and cool and thats when my car does it's best. Gotta cool those intercoolers down. lol
