Default NOS surging ????

I have a 2002 6 speed corvette and recently installed a HSW single nozzle dry kit. I have a purge kit, bottle heater, dynotune window switch, and a FPSS.

The purge works great. The nitrous to the engine does not. It surges bad.

Things I have tried so far:
1.Bottle position
2.Disabled FPSS by connecting both wires to one terminal
3.Changed nozzle location 2x...I now have a straight shooter mounted on a bracket in my CAI....nozzle is about 2-3 inches from MAF
4.Tested line to ensure the nos was coming out in a stream(not a pulse)

My bottle pressure was over 900 when i tried these tests and they weren't done in any specific order.

When i tested to see that the nos was streaming correctly i disabled my TPS and turned the nos on at 2000rpms not at WOT.

Could my problem be with my TPS????

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Frank

Hey Frank, glad to see ya over here. You'll get some valuable insight here for sure.

Edit: One thing I forgot to mention, a dirty MAF wire can lead to eratic readings. A source of dirty MAF can sometimes be caused by an oiled filter, this leads to deposits on the wires, and sometimes just accumulated miles is enough. cleaning is the answer, and have seen this issue cause a surging problem.

they sell MAF cleaner, CRC brand.

Works rather well, just avoid trying to mess with the delicate wires if you can.

Try another ground for the nitrous solenoid...might not be getting a solid connection.

Is the solenoid pulsing? Clicking off and on real fast?

I activated the system with no nos at a low rpm when at idle and could hear the soleniod click. I also pulled the line and checked to see if the nos was spraying in a constant stream. No pulsing what so ever.

i recently set up my fpss to provide a ground for the window switch and it would cause the relay to switch on and off rapidly. i adjusted it by lowering the psi and no problems when testing it with the car in park by reving the engine past the WS settings but i've been trying to spray the past couple of days and noticed a definite surging and my inj DC was choppy. i think it is my fpss. i'm going to provide a solid ground in place of the fpss. maybe you can try the same by giving a solid ground to whatever your fpss is going to.

Right now I have my FPSS disabled meaning I have the two wires running the one terminal so the FPSS can't be the issue.

Are you sure it's "surging" and not running butt lean? It will stumble and be similar to a 'surge'.
Also, make sure the window switch rpms are set correctly.

Not sure if its running lean or not. I have not thrown any lean codes at all though. I only have it on for a second or two since its surging so bad. When i say surging I mean that it feels like its going on and off. I am also on my 3rd different nozzle position and currently have it set up on a single straight shooter about 2-3 inches from my MAF.....I think its pointing directly to the metal part of the MAF.

i had dual straights that were very slightly angled at each other to partially collide at each other. nozzles were 4" roughly from the maf and caused an extreme lean condition that was well over 19+ afr and made the car feel like dieing. i sprayed it like that twice for 1-2 seconds each and lean codes do not come up.

when my relay was pulsing(rapid chat, chat, chat sound) due to the fpss cutting on and off, the nitrous stream when tested in idle looked fine. the solenoid was only getting 8-9 volts when i hooked up a voltmeter to it.
