We have done NO work on CJ's car. He has his own tuner and we just put his car on the dyno to see what it does. He also had 550lbs in the hatch area with the car strapped down so we would get NO wheelspin.

320-330 was the average for the 98-02's we had on the dyno. I cannot tell you about his nitrous pills just that the car did do 715rwhp and 757rwtq.

So you guys are like... ya its a good idea to hit your stock motor wit a 300 shot @ 1200 psi bottle pressure (talk about a lean spike )As long as you have 50lbs. in the trunk so it doesnt spin

Funny stuff man. the car does not sound like 600 let alone 700 rwhp. both our cars are way more violent on the dyno hell both us in the back(600lbs) and 4 straps including the axle strapps pulling straight down wouldn't hold any more than 730. this dyno is not a loaded dyno and the pull takes to long for that low of an rpm. my last pull on a dyno jet took a little over 1 second to 7500.

How about the reason he didnt damage it is because his dyno pull was only about 2.5 second with very little load. Likleyhood of damage or detonation with the use of nitrous is always greatest at peak Tq. This is why people run dual stages and progressive controllers. Adding rpm has the effect of reducing cylinder pressure...hence the large drop in TQ with rpm. The cylinder pressure is greater from 5800-6200 than it would be from 6200-6600. Likleyhood of damage would be greater at the lower rpm.
If the dyno was accurate...and he was making 700+ rwhp and 750+ rwtq on 93 octane...I am willing to bet money that thing would not make it down the track in one piece. And it has little to do with reving it to 6200 or lower.
This whole thread is just rediculous

Rather you made the power with only a 150shot or not the bottom end is a time bomb. I can't beleive it made that power and stayed together reguadless of the shot if its a stock bottom end. Congrats if its all legit

Thats true. Everyone thinks the added pressure of the nitrous has an affect on rod bolts. Rod bolt failures are purely related to rpm and the top of the exhaust stroke. Tons of juice has little affect on rod bolts. Rods yea....rod bolts...no.

Not really....IMO its sending the wrong message to think its cool when you get 150 more HP that intended.
As I said before...a well set up kit is one that will give you the HP you INTENDED to get. If I intend to get a 275 shot than by god I will put the 275 pills in it. And If I put in the 150 jets then I better be around 150.

TNT for the win! Hmmm nice gains man! My car made 451whp/555tq with a 100shot @ like at 850-900psi and I am only bolt ons, running SUUUPER RICH almost dying on me after a run, so maybe they leaned it out and gained major power.
