Default Is timing tuner the only option to control timing on the fly?

Is this the only option to cut out timing for nitrous besides permanently removing it from the pcm file?

I realize the timing tuner has a built in window switch....but he was asking if it was the only option for timing retard.

For the LS2 the timing twister is the only option I know of

I am sorry. I didnt realize thats what he was asking. I just know that with the timing tuner you get more bang for the buck.

If your running a dry kit, there is a way to pull timing only when your spraying. The rest of the time you will have your normal max timing for all motor runs.

Will the timing tuner work on a 402 build? It uses a LS2 block but the LS1 electronics are there, only difference is the knock sensor placment I think, is that the problem?

As long as you are using the LS1 crank position sensor it should work (and a 24 tooth reluctor wheel on the crank). I heard there is another option coming out that will work on both the LS1 & LS2 platforms that looks pretty promising.

I believe this is done with a tuner such as HPTuners and it happens due to the IAT. Robert or someone else with knoledge on this subject can chime in but I'm pretty sure that this is correct.
