Issue #1
We just wanted to update everyone on the progress of the NXL LS1 systems. First off we want to apologize for the delay . We are happy with the performance (we tested up to 300hp) but fitment has been the issue. We are finishing V.5 of the rail design today. The issue has been different tolerances from vehicle to vehicle. The first car that we tested, we had ample room. The second vehicle you couldn't even get your hand in to the rail area. We will be finalizing the LS1 system before the 4.6 mustang. We just want to let everyone know that we are working on this problem and we should have it resolved today. Product will be ready to ship in 3-4 weeks.
Issue #2 the progressive
We are working on a new "Maximizer” The new unit will not be from who you are expecting. We have had numerous problems with the previous outdated design and have decided to move on. The new unit may not be known as the maximizer. This unit will feature a built in relay, window switch, TPS signal, O2's (narrow or wideband), transbrake signal, ignition retard output, delay time, gear count, 0-100% N2O Delivery or anywhere in between.
Example
1st gear
Start power 0% and ramp to 50%
2nd gear
Start power 30% to 80%
3rd gear
Start power 80% to 100%
and so on. You can do up to 5 gears.
It will also start at 100% and trim down for Turbo or Supercharged cars where lag is a problem,
We will be finished with testing this weekend on the Progressive.
Again we apologize for the delay and if we can help you out let us know. I will post a link for pics later today. Pics are from V.4. On V.5 all of the line fittings were moved forward and the rail is noched a little more. Also we will have the software for the Progressive on this link. If you have a PDA you can download the program and play with it. Please email me with any feed back.
Sincerely

I sent you guys a couple of emails through your website tech support regarding your NXL nozzles and never got any responses back.
Have you guys done any testing on the nozzles at lower pressures to find out if the delivery is just as good as when it's running 55-65psi? For example, 10psi for use with a secondary fuel system.
Thanks

Brian can you give us an approximate size of the new controller? Need to start interior clean up and find a nice spot for this little puppy (hopefully little). TIA, Charlie.

The web address is http://www.nitrousexpress.com/gallery.html
Sorry it took so long. We have tested the NXL on low pressure and it worked fine. So Yes, you can run this system on low pressure no problem. I'll measure the controller on Monday and give you the exact size. Have a good weekend!

I can see one problem... My SVO injectors are alot fatter than the stock LS1 injectors and it looks like the lines are tight against the injector. That could create a big problem for alor of guys with bigger/ aftermarket injectors. Is there room for a bigger injector?

The car should be fine with the bigger fuel injector. This is the same NXL and injector combo that we use on the 5.0 system but I'll go ahead and check it out. Thanks

I have been waiting in anticipation.
When will this be generally available? I hope to be finished with the engine install in the next few weeks.
Thanks,

Brian, can you tell me what the solenoid on the rt. fender well is for. See the purge noid hooked onto it, but not sure if this part of the NXL for progressive use or just parts of an old kit from your test car? Can you get the dimensions for the main body of the controller also, I see it mounted to the rt kickpanel area, but am looking at another locale for mounting. TIA. Charlie.

The solenoids on the fender are for the MAF system that is on the car. The box measures 4 inches by 4.5 inches. This box will plug into a pda so you can mount it anywhere. As far as "purging through the engine” we still do not recommend this. It seems that revving the engine up this way can actually hurt the rings or pistons.

So you do not need an actual laptop to program the controller, just a little PDA will work? Thats awesome! Thanks Brian. Just keep this updated on release date for both PLEASE!

Well, I ordered a -4 @ 16' triple black insulated line today. I figure I have my interior out after installing the rollbar, why not route the line in wait!
