Direct Port by far is the best, virtually eliminates the problem of fuel puddling because the charge doesnt have to go through the flat intake, also i think that fast 90 has nitrous bosses already built in for a direct port

I spoke with a Nitrous system tech dealer today and he stated that a direct port will be much harder to keep in tune???

If your going that big i would go DP if doing a wet hit. Dry that big is much easier to tune and a safer set-up.

Ops "-1" for plate. i thought you were talking carb style plate not throttle body plate. if the 2 are the only option id go DP.

Im going from a two stage plate system (two plates) with super power shots to a single shot DP on like a 275 shot.

Keep in mind this is on a BBC.

DP is a MUCH better way to go.

Car has a 3 inch cowl and the air filter top rubs the cowl. Ill be able to ditch the plates and run a nice spacer now

I just upgraded to a DP but I have nothing bad to say about the plates I have had the NOS and the NitroDaves both worked great.

I bet it doesn't hit near as hard as the old plate setup AND FYI a good plate kit works like a spacer

Right now the first stage is spraying over the bar for the second stage. I don't like that.

Not sure how a 275 shot out of the hole would not hit hard compared to a 150 shot out of the hole rolling into a 275 shot cutting out the 150???

Might stay with a plate untill this motor goes....

I think the noids are super pro power shots also, not super power shots, the powers are to small if I remember right.

Go with the direct port, with that large of a shot you need to be sertain that all cylinders are getting the same amount. Otherwise with such a large shot the #1 & #3 cylinders will get more than #7 & #8 Tunning should be the least of your concerns. engine reliability should be your first concern

On big shots the DP still needs individual cylinder tuning to be correct and safe. Not as easy as some think/imply.

I agree. I guess it's a good thing my friend does all my tuning cause I get stumped when I play with computers and don't have a clue as to what he's doing when he does it.
