Default NOS plate kit test question.

I just installed a NOS plate kit on my 2000 Trans Am WS6. I don't have the bottle in the car yet, so to make sure the fuel side of things was set up correctly I engaged the system (above 3k RPM) and I assumed it would spray fuel only and run really rich, and suck ***. However it only did this for a second or two before resumeing normal opperation (still at WOT). Could this be because the computer recognized the super rich condition and pulled fuel from the fuel injectors? Would this have anything to do with the nitrous solenoid still being hooked up (electrically, hose from the solinoid conected to the plate and a plug in the nitrous in hole).

Is this what should happen? I just wanted to make sure before I hooked up the bottle.

The car is a stock M6 asside from the nitrous system.

Better check your fuel solenoid. See if it is engaging. With the engine off and the arming swith on engage your wot switch and listen for your fuel solenoid to make a clicking noise. Mine runs really crappy when the bottle runs empty. It starts popping and backfarting.

You'll have to override the window switch too (if you have one)

i didn't notice a difference when i had my bottle off and armed the system with a 100 shot of extra fuel. with the 150 shot fuel jet in and the bottle off, it backfired, bogged, and ran real bad when i armed the system with the kit just spraying fuel.

Checked the fuel solenoid, all is well. I still need to mound the bottle (when it stops raining). This momentary bog and then normal opperation at WOT just spraying fuel is normal then?

mine has does the same thing aswell, feul doesnt really squirt out unless it has the nitrous pressure to help it spray everywhere

This just doesn't seem right. Correct me if I am wrong, but the fuel should spray out, nitrous or no nitrous. It is under pressure as well.

i tested mine with no window switch by disconnecting the n20 solenoid, arm system, hit the microswitch at idle, it should kill the engine with that much fuel.

thats normal, mine only bogs for a second, then i guess the pcm must fix it.

it took me a while to figure that one out, had me worried untill i got a Fuel Pressure gauge to watch it 1st hand
