Default Will 1050psi + 150 Shot Be Fine On Totally Stock C5?

Hi guys, I know that we have been over this but that was when I was running the 125 shot. Its a totally stock 97 a4 vette with a zex kit & tr6 plugs. Ive moved up to the 150 pills but ive yet to change the heater so my psi is staying at 900-950 because of the zex bottle heaters limits. Should I leave it like that or will it be fine with a new heater set up to get it to 1050 psi. I know that the zex jetting is rich as hell with a 125 shot @950psi but Im not for sure how much it will lean it out going to 1050psi & a 150 shot. I just want to make sure that it will be fine and that I dont hurt it because the 125 shot at 950psi has proven to be very safe so far. Robert & sugey please chime in since you guys have been very helpful with my set up and I value your input as everyone elses. Thanks for all your help.

P.S. WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK THE CAR WILL RUN IN THE 1/4 WITH THIS SET UP AND IS IT WORTH PULLING THE FRONT SWAY BAR? OK IM DONE WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS, LOL BUT YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN SPOT ON SO FAR AND PRETTY MUCH ALREADY KNOW THE OUT COME. THANKS.

Your fine with the plugs...stock timing is set low anyway.

Don't know about the sway bar, but the 1/4 time should be about 1.5 seconds quicker and 15mph more than what a stock car like yours does.

He's not going to pick up 1.5 seconds on a 150 shot. If he can drive, he'll do good to get 1.3 second reduction with a 13mph trap increase.

Don't we all wish we lived in a world where 10 bhp = 1mph regardless on trap speed

yes going to a 1050psi will in fact lean it out a bit, at least if it's a wet hit. The only way to know for sure is to check a/f, a wb or dyno and/or at the minimum log the NB sensors. Plugs good at about .035 gap. The sway removal is a .1 on the Z06 and a proven mod, weight and more lift for planting the tires. you should be able to knock a few tenths or more with the additional n2o and sway bar trick. good luck and keep us updated.

all depends on wether its a flywheel rated or rwhp rated kit.....my car picked up 7 tenths and 10mph off a 75 flywheel shot.....but my cam really loves the spray.....

Well said ... some setups love the spray better than others. I don't think anyone can really tell you within 1/10 on how much you'll pick up. IMO at 1050, you'll lean it our enough to get the numbers you're looking for, but, prob outta' richen it up to be safe.

It is a general good rule of thumb. Also, it is 10rwhp. And yes, it takes more power to see gains on a 9 sec car vs a 13sec car...it is the law of phyiscs.
