i would have stoped, i have fire ex in every one of my auto's, i would have said, you want me to try to put it out, or let it burn?
i would ask because i know if my car went up and i didnt get it out right away and some one pulled over and put it out, id be pissed. lol let it burn..
too bad tho for sure.
That happened a long time ago to a local guy with his lambo. His fuel rail seperated and carbequed his car.

The interesting fact is that this is the same guy who now owns the 1400+rwhp Ford GT that you've seen all the videos about.

When adding any power adder, it is the time, money and attention to detail that will predict the outcome of your success. If you do it half *** and rush into it and don't gather the vailable info from the individuals on this board and sponsors, then yea I'd be worried, lol.
Since my first F-obdy in 98, I've held the members of this board (with the exception of a few) to have some of the greatest knowledge to learn from. The only better way to learn sometimes is by trail and error, But the way I see it is, the time you put into a project will dictate your end results. You never stop learning.
Also to add I am not saying that the backfires that do happen are do to lack of knowledge. Sometimes you get faulty parts or maybe you thought you had it all wired right. Then again some of us have to be brave enough to go pionner the new ways. Some could produce awsome results, while others could cause you to burn you car to the ground. We live and we learn.
