I've got a nitrous kit on order and had a question about when the car is running off the bottle. I don't want it to run deathly rich while off the bottle and was wondering if there's anything out there where you can toggle between an all-motor tune and a nitrous tune.

I know you can buy HPTuners or something of the sort to load different maps but I'd rather not spend $500+ just to switch between maps.

Any help is appreciated.

yea i'd talk to a member here named ALVIN - he's the guy that tunes my car. I'd search on COS5 EFILive in tuning.

If Vengeance is your tuner they should be able to do it w/ EFI Live.

Quick summary...
EFI Live COS 5 tune is written for your car. COS 5 is a Custom Operating System that has FI and Nitrous Specific tables included in it.

1. A wire is run from the PCM that when grounded (can be automatic with the noids, or toggle) will enable alternate tables (its not a separate tune).

Alternate tables includes Timing being pulled and a VE muliplier, as well as some others.

 

It is awesome too. Honestly I got to the point where I left things in the n20 tune mode. Maybe i dropped off 10 rwhp na so what!!

 

Ron had mentioned there was something with EFILive that could be done. Guess I'll just shut up and listen to them.
