I have one on my 01. Currently it does nothing because I can tune the car with my predator. However, when the nitrous is installed I will be able to create a timing window for spark retard and solenoid activation. How that will work remains to be seen but I don't anticipate a problem from the TT.
I advanced timing a few degrees and tested the car; it lost power so I set it back. If I had needed the timing I'm sure I'd be expressing how everyone should have it.

Ive got one too, bad *** unit..... Its kinda tricky to hook up if youre not into wiring.. BUT nitro dave's or mike at full-throttle (both sponsors) can help you wire it up...Mike @ Full-throttle acutally makes the timing tuner... Just got off the phone with him, great guy very smart.....

I've been running mine for about 5 years. It works great for N2O. Mine sometimes flakes out and the car won't start, so I have to bypass it with the supplied jumper. This seems to happen if I start the car a bunch of times in a row, like when you are waiting in the staging lanes. I might try the new MSD timing twister. I have their window switch and it works good.

I wouldn't think you would need a separate window switch. Speaking of the MSD alternative, I thought to add a little more to my opinion on the Timing Tuner. It just looks a little too home made for a $250 performance component. The radio shack project box and glob of black rtv to seal the wiring coming out the hole just doesn't do it for me. The 4 tiny screws into the plastic walls of the box that hold the lid over the little switches and rotaries also leaves something to be desired. At the time, it was the only game in town for LS1 timing control.

this sounds like the way to go IMHO! Its got all the bells and whistles neede to run N2O! Delay, window switch, AND pulls timing apon activation! thats impressive in itself. Nothing like being able to run the best you can on motor, then flip the switch, and have your N2O tune right there without having to reflash.(assuming yoru running a slightly bigger fuel jet in the N2O to compensate for the difference in a/f ratios)
