Default how would a NX tune affect my DD or off bottle performance?

well tuner told me that a tune is not worth it for a 150 shot and just keep stock. but everyone else says to do it. how would car run on motor with NX tune, caseue i know there is timming and all that to be considered?

If you do a search you'll find 20 different opinions on spraying on a stock tune. I say anything less than 100 is good to run on a motor tune depending how aggressive your tune is. You will lose power on motor with a nitrous tune--which is basically pulling some timing and richening up the PE table just a little bit for a wet kit.

If the car is bone stock and no one has tuned on it. You should be able to run up to a 150 with out removing timming. However I would still suggest checking airfuel and making sure that there is no knock retard.

The Cobra guys run the flip switch that gives them multiple tunes, but I don't think we can.

If you desperately want a n/a tune and a n20 tune, check out a aftermarket ecu like the fast xfi unit, it will allow you to have 4 selectable tunes at the flip of a switch.
