Default Is there such thing as bad nitrous...?

Back story;
when I bought my kit the nitrous bottle was half full and it hit very nice...ran a 100 shot the entire time.
2nd bottle I ran was from a different shop and I put the 125 shot in and it didn't really seem all that much different, perhaps not even as hard hitting as the 100 shot...with the 125 shot I went to the track and ran a best of 12.8 @ 108 w/ a 2.01 60ft (not that good for a 125 shot) I had absolutely no tire spin on street tires and bottle pressure was above 900 psi.
So now I got my bottle filled at a different place and I went out to test it on a 30 mph roll and on the same 125 shot it hit so hard I almost lost control of my car...completely different from any other time I have used it (I did change the shut off rpm's on my window switch).
My question is what could have caused the nitrous to hit so poorly? Could it be the nitrous? Could it have maybe only sprayed in one gear at the track due to the window switch rpm's programmed to turn off at 5800?

Sorry for the long read, thanks for any insight.

from what you say, it could be a bad fill. most likely a bottle pressure issue...

sounds like you got a bottle of air the second time around, make sure you weigh it next time, that will let you know if you got all 10# of nitrous, should weigh somewhere around 24lbs full.

Freeze your bottle for a few hours before you fill it next time. Take it to your local speed shop as cold as it can be.

I'd say you got a bottle full of nothing at the 2nd shop with you only going a 12.8 on a 125 shot.

Yeah I think you're right. When I had it filled though I could definitely feel the weight diference. I think it could have been my programming on my window switch too though.

yeah, sounds right. My shop has a scale and they always weigh it after it is filled for the customer to see. If pressure was where you say, it sounds like you got some expensive air.

Not necessary unless the place doesn't have a pump. I have a pump and can get a complete 10 lbs. in the bottle no matter what temp it's at.
