Default new to the LS1 & NOS

hey guys im new to this site and new to the LS1 engine

i just purchased a zex wet nitrous 75-150 kit for my 99 camaro ss
is their anything i need to know before i install the kit?

precautions?

as far as my mods their listed below

With the mods that you have you will be able to get away with spraying 100-150hp shot on the car wihtout having any problems. You will need to go to a colder plug for the nitrous ( NGK TR6 Stock # 4177 ). You should be fine on the stock pump even at a 150 shot ( The stock pump will support around 450-480rwhp range ), but if you wanted to make 100% sure you were covered on the fueling i would suggest you get a Racetronix fuel system ( will net you fueking capable of supporting 650-700rwhp ). If the car has stock timing then you will be fine at the 100-150hp levels but if you have had the timing advanced at all on the car you will need to take some timing back out or put it back to stock timing. Along with the system I would suggest you get a FPSS ( Fuel Pressure Safety Swtich ) which comes pre set to a certain PSI but can be adjusted from 28-60PSI and at any point during the run if the fuel pressure drops below the adjusted PSI it will interrupting the ground to the system causing the system to shut off.

if you own an LS1 you arent allowed to call it NOS lol thats for the ricers!

call it: squeeze, on the jug, giggle gas, spray, on the bottle etc.

about the NGK TR6 Stock # 4177

i just replaced my spark plugs like a month ago with AC Delco professional platinum, cost me like 6 bucks a piece!

what would happen if i wouldnt change them

is the zex a good system? I heard about one that is just a plate that holds all the nozzles...i need a mediocre system that is easy to switch from ls1 to ls1.

Get those overpriced plugs out of there and use TR6's. I wouldn't spray without them

Why?

how would it affect? What could happen if i leave those in?

i had a hard time changing the plugs and i just dont want to do it again, but if it is necessary then i would do it because i want my car to be running in good condition

I've seen personaly what the wrong plugs on spray can do and suggest go with the NGKs

a buddy of mine had a 100 shot hooked up to his camaro and tried to save some money by sticking with the AC Delco plugs and after the first bottle 3 out of the 8 plugs exploded on the inside of the head and scared the cylinder walls.

Rule #1 dont half@$$ something just to save a few bucks when it comes to racing.

is that the best one to go with because i just went on their website and noticed that their was a couple to choose from
