Robert's setup is pretty sick, but one advantage is that these allow a seperate cell for higher octane fuel.

Thanks. There is another side to this story when going big. OK, you 116 octane in your stand alone and 92 octane in your tank. The majority of your fuel is going to be 92octane. So basically you end up with a water down 116, or a slightly upgraded 92 octane. This is not the best scenario for big hits. I want the full Monty 116 going to my motor and this will be whats in my tank when spraying big. So it's really all in your end goals, do we want to go big and have less than the best fuel?

Here is the basics. You can plumb a reg right onto the end of your test port on fuel rail, or like I did, a '97 rails/reg. All I had to do is run one line to my test port from the additional Bosch in-line, and reg and return are there already. The pump can be wired to come on only when spraying by utilizing your N2O wiring and an extra relay. Very cheap and easy to do. You can see the bulk head connector (a special one from Jegs) in the tank as pick up. Another option for the return is to go to the fuel neck hose, and this is what late '03 and '04s need to do.

Here is the '97 installed rails with return/reg. We cut the stock cover and it all looks stock (see the two braided lines coming out of the valve cover).

what about a dual intake setup like Lonnie's. The second pump could be setup to come on when the nitrous is activated. wouldn't that be compairable to what you have Robert?

Sure, as long as you have the return and reg at the rails. There is a mod for lonnies dual set-up for exactly what you propose.

I'm getting a HSW standalone before the Shootout. I love how it can be mounted on the side by the fuse boxes. And since I have a WS6 LT1, I don't have to worry about the CAI.
