i am wondering without a wideband how well does this work, i mean when you install an a/f guage and run it off a tapped o2 sensor wire it reads all over the place...so does the reading when you use just an interceptor gauge using the computer port.

We have a lot of customers using them with narrow band and they work very well. Typically when running nitrous you always run at WOT a narrow band voltage should be steady at WOT. Dont know what an inteceptor gauge is so cannot help you there.

this is the interceptor gauge. it reads a lot of stuff including 02 voltage off the computer. its usually all over the place, but thats why i have the wideband.

2002t/a06 - THanks for the post. Interesting gauge - now that you sent the link I have seen it. Similar to the PLX we will be carrying when they are out.

But yes the narrow band signal scales up and down continuously but will go steady at WOT.

Thanks!

so will I be able to use this as my A/F meter instead of buying a wideband? I mean the car will only be sprayed once in a while but on the motor I should be find regarding A/F if the tune is spot on right?

Of course a spot on tune is key to a well perfroming car but things can and do go wrong. A minor investment for the safety of an expensive motor! If you get a wideband down the road the switch will work as well as it handles both narrow band and wideband.

This guage/display can take the place of my LC-1's square display guage?

I'm assuming it's got a circuit interrupter for shutting down the nitrous? Meaning I could just wire it inline with the ground wire on the control side of my N20 relay and it would kill the ground (and therefore N20) upon lean condition at WOT?

That is a great tool for Nitrous. Will it work with a LC-1 WB?

Typically when you are racing you are watching the road or track so even if you noticed the a/f getting lean you would not be able to shut the nitrous off anywhere near as quick as the switch.

Youc an put it anywhere you like - mount it where you want - if you dont want it visible at all times you can also mount it in the glove box or center console.

Yes it can take the place of the LC1 gauge or you can run both as the LC1 has 2 programmable outputs.

Yes it has a circuit for shutting down the nitrous - here is how it is wired up:

So does this take the place of a FPSS? I will be running the "Timing Tuner" to remove timing for N2O use and as a Window switch. Also a N2O filter with my HSW wet plate kit. Will this work for me? Does this tell me the A/F ratio all the time off of my stock O2 sensors? If so I will order right away.....Thanks....Sorry about the "newbie" questions. I am trying to set up a safe system.....

It will read the voltage off of the O2 sensors. i am gonna run it without a fpss because if it detects any lean condition the nitrous will shuttoff.
