window switch + spray out of hole....setup.
looking at the HSW dry plate kit w/ the interface, WOT switch, bottle heater, FPSS, etc.
my question is this.
can you set up to spray out of the hole at the track, and then have a window switch for the street?...how would this be done?
looking to spray a 100 shot out of the hole at the track and see how that goes....then might up it to 125, 150, etc. traction pending obviously.
with no window switch how do I limit the spray at the top and for shifting gears? (m6) is there just an RPM cut off switch?
and could I run a window switch on the street?
bascially what i'm asking is this.
when spraying out of the hole all you have is a WOT switch correct? then when you left off to shift the nitrous is cut and then back on right?
what If I want to run a window switch on the street and just a WOT at the track?....

Set ur "on" RPM's to what ever it is that u launch at....say u launch at 3k rpm set ur window switch to come on then, then just gun it outa the hole, spray should activate as soon as ur foot hits the floor.

Unless u got a 12 bolt i dont think ur gonna launch that high and be able to keep the RPM's that high......so say ur launching at 5k once the tires bite ur rpm SHOULD fall some, but u wotn have it floored to keep it at 5k before the launch....So i say on at 3k then off about 200rpm before ur shift point....say u shift at 6500 then ur off rpms at 6300.

Well, mine is an A4 but kind of the same principal.. I have a 4K stall and is set to shift at 6600... I have the WS set at 3700 and turn off at 6500. I know the 6500 is too close to the 6600 but thats fine with me, I cant even feel it turn off and it prolly sprays thru the shifts.

I have very similar mods as you, only thing is I run the X3 cam and have a 90/90.. If you are a good driver, I dont see any reason why you cant hit your goal. Good Luck!

You're gonna be suprised how fast that car will be.
On my old 6 speed setup I would set the WS at 3K and launch at 5500 dump. I never touched the bottom end of the switch, but if you miss a shift you will be more than happy it's there.

LOL, the A4's are alot easier to drive.. I have more left in the car, I just need some track time to get a descent tune down. Then crank up the N20 to a 150 or 200 shot and see what happends. But, gotta get a roll cage as I all ready got kicked off the track. :-(

You might want to take a day or two at the track getting used to the car on motor runs before you spray. If this is your first time spraying, it's a completely different animal when you hit it off the line.
