Point taken

What is the 1/4 mile time on the " fastest - quickest F-body, with a/c, and nitrous system ? "

I don't think he wants to be on a list. But you would have to ask him on that.

My question is who has the " fastest - quickest , A/C, with nitrous oxide 1/4 mile F-Body in the world? What does this car run in the 1/4 mile? "

My link to LS2Formula car was to show the fastest one I know of to date with a/c and nitrous oxide, and he just happens to be in our crew. That's all.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but this is about as close to a thread I can get that pertains to my question. BTW you have a Bad *** ride man!

thanks man. as for the AC thing, i dont know who has it and who doesnt. *** of right now im going to have to guess you are it, i know most of the 8 sec rides on here have no ac. i know mine would fit with my heads, but i dont drive the car on the streets much at all. maybe 10-20 miles per season just to a couple car shows. but 8.9 in a full car ac and all is pretty friggin sweet!!

Didnt realize that my new purge solenoid was leaking, and by the last half of that pass, I was down to 780 bottle pressure. It leaked alot out while waiting in the staging lanes. With my new dual bottle setup it normally stays around 1000 going through the traps. Much more potential still there

Wow, this ain't no SMKN TA 95 time, but it'sw getting there with my little Nos plate

9.67 @ 140.4mph, 1.43 60 foot 2105 DA, 3290 lbs. F body/TH400 With a little more tuning, I think there's a couple more tenth's and a mph or 2 left before I've exhausted what the little Nos plate can do

I hear ya. I change the oil after every trip, and I haven't noticed any increase or decrease in goop that comes off the magnet on the drain plug... not sure if that's a good sign or a bad one, but there's always been a little tiny bit that will wipe off. I mean a really tiny bit, just enough to leave a grey spot on a white rag.

I figure with the oil getting changed every 3 to 6 runs, if anything was wearing I would have seen it by now... no big pieces so I guess everything's good to go

I'll probably tear it down before the car comes back out, I'm taking a break next year to get some other stuff done around the house, get an enclosed trailer, bigger truck, etc.

Won't hurt to freshen it up, freshen the tranny up I figure. Plus when I do get back to it after my break, it's gonna be a good 250 lbs lighter, more if I can get about 50 off myself too

That's all I plan on doing unless something looks ugly, in that case an upgrade will be in order.

You're on alum rods now though, you'll be replacing those I bet.

I don't have the slip with me here at work, but I do remember the 1/8 MPH was 121.xx

As for the ET, that I can't remember.

I will be going back out this weekend for some more runs now that I've got the suspension figured out.

Damn, 121 mph in the 1/8th, and to think I was all happy to see 112 LOL.

That thing is really moving good, I suspect you're not telling us what it has really run

Like I said, it pretty much ran out of nitrous on the back half of the track.

I do have to say that my stock'ish block/stock casting headed motor is working well....

As for what it has really run................
