2008 Official "Nitrous Fast List"
I saw one at LVD last time I was there on a T&T day, it was nothing special just a 370 truck block motor and it was running 9.20's, and idled like it had a street cam in it. Stock ported heads on it, fast intake, with a MAF on the end of it... car was very consistant to say the least and it was n/a
If that car could go that fast with a mild setup like it was, I can only imagine what a 427 with 2 stages on it would do. Kurt's 6.8 second overall lsx record would probably get killed.
I think the guy said the rail caar weigh'd 1600 if I remember correctly. Do the math, with a 1600 lb rail it would only have to make 1100 rw to run a 6.5x, and I bet a rail car would beat the calculator because of the lack of wind drag, and the fact that they all 60 foot like crazy

Car weighed 3015 on that pass. The car was 190 Heavy for the class and th 60' was about 12 hun off what it should be. Should run a mid .50 before the end of the year.
Using 1 stage NOS Pro Fogger and NOS Launcher Controller. 2, 10 Pound NOS bottles

While this is a very fast LSX powered car, 99% of the cars on this site and nitrous forum are of the stock style suspension category. This car is a 4 Link chassis car, with alot better suspension than a stock style car like all of us have.

LOL, no you cannot compare the aero F Body to the Box shaped Nova. Look at the wiindsheild angle! Really if we start to say that we will only look at F Bodies on Drag Radial , Stock Suspension and Black cup holders then we are in serious trouble.
To be sure the chassis has several advantages over a rules limited Drag Radial Stock Suspension car ...F Body or Nova.
Our current 60' is worse than many current drag radial cars. So yes we will improve there.
Our Liberty transmission is much better than any automatic. We can kep our RPM band to a higher average than any automatic, we have 5 gears!
We currently have a big tire on the car, we are not faced with the need to kill power to get the car down the track.
Did I say the car is as areo as a brick?
It isn't possible to compare restricted heads up race cars against one another. I suggest that you compare the power they make given the rules they race under.
It's an LSX, that is the bottom line.
BTW, we are restricted to a .046 jet in NPS. We still have some more jet to go before we get to that limit
