LT1 or LS1 for running nitrous??? Which is better?

Just wondering which engine is better for running 100 shot of nitrous???

well look at it this way the more power you are making before the spray...usialy will make the most on spray....in terms of stock engines.....
go for the ls and dont look back

they're both good for nitrous, but there's ppl on here spraying 300 shots on stock internals LS1.

300 shot on stock internals? lol If they are, the motor's not lasting too long. An average LS1 bottom end is good for about 600 bhp. The stock motor is already making 300. Do the math. I run a 150 shot on a cam/bolt-on car and am pushing my luck. The car made 515rwhp on 150 through a TH400 and 12-bolt.

Anyway, the LS1 is a better motor with better parts. It will last longer than an LT1 on nitrous, and it will make more power. If it wasn't an all around better motor, then LT1's would have still been used after '97.

Lt1's hold up real well on the spray . But bI have both and you cant beat a ls1 bolt on car W/ spray. I have seen Zeuss's car run mid 10's . You want gat that out of a cam only Lt1 W/150 shot.

I've read that LS1 is better for dry shot due to the faster metrics on the PCM for calculating and adjusting for A/F ratios.

ls1 all the way...and i have never heard of someone spraying a 300 shot on stock internals unless they had a new motor already being shipped, and just wanted to blow this one up...
