If you take the proper precautions such as a window switch, colder plugs(tr6's), a fuel pressure safety switch or a lean shutdown switch and I would suggest also getting a wideband 02 sensor as well as getting it tuned you should be just fine. That being said, it certainly isn't 100% safe! You will also need to determine if you want to run a wet shot or dry shot. Most will say that a dry shot is safer but you can still get a backfire from a dry shot as well. If you are not familiar with all the parts tha I listed try a search. There are many, many thread out there just like yours that can explain things in greater detail for you. There are many people out there that run nitrous all the time and don't have problems. If you click on the nitrous outlet banner in my signature everything that I listed above is provided by Dave and his staff! You can PM them with any questions you have and they will answer them quickly! They are great people to work with!!!

READ THE STICKY!!!!!!! Nitrous is never "COMPLETELY SAFE"! However, with precautions it is relatively safe.

if you have to ask, then no it is not safe.

you obviously cant read, or search, or do much of anything else. so i think owning a car with more than 300 hp/tq is prolly pushing your luck as it is.

damn mr mustang whats up ur ***?? guy just had a simple question. but ne way....

back to the original post. nothing is 100% safe. your best bet is to call one of the sponsors on the site and they will give the best advice.

the things that i would buy with the kit is a purge, bottle heater, fpss, blow down tube(some tracks require them), window switch, and injectors (if you go dry) and i think thats it but the sponsors will tell you for sure.

a 50 shot is gonna make the car fart and not do a whole lot. i would set it at 100 for the start, and then depending if you want more then move on up. i really wouldnt go any more than 150 (plenty of people have gone more on stock applications but just to play it safe)

hope that helps a little bit

greed causes issues with nitrous. Dont cheap out on safety features, and if you keep the shot small like 100-125 shouldnt have an issues. Also dont spray 24/7. Wanting to flip the switch everytime out , not buying window switch etc, wanting to up the shot, and spraying before you check the a/f = greed

aaww, nice paw on your sig. LMFAO

Nitrous its a great power adder but dont cheap out on the supporting parts for it. Deffinetly and exhaust, CAI, NGK TR6 and a window switch. Alot has to do with the installer but hey, fawk it. Spray it

If properly installed-and tuned, reading the manufacturers directions and recommendations can provide power gains without making the engine go boom.Good luck.

I would spray it. Just start small. Don't worry, you'll be hooked after the first run.
